Club OS

The member and compliance record for members' clubs.

Club OS is software being built for a members' club to run its own governance: who is a member, who is in the room, what is happening this week, and the audit trail to prove it. Club OS is offered only where a club's activity is lawful under the applicable UK or EU member-state law, and each club operates under its own local legal basis. The compliance record is the product.

What it is designed to do for a club

These are planned capabilities and may change before release.

Membership

Member register with identity checks, pass issue and reissue, sponsor links, and lapse reminders. Staff see only what their role needs.

The door and the room

Capacity held at the door, scan-in and scan-out, and an evacuation roll call that lists who is on the premises.

Bookings and events

Club rooms, workshops and member events, with RSVPs, capacity and no-show tracking.

Governance

Member votes and AGM motions, with secret ballots, plus member-to-team messages in one place.

Compliance record

Append-only audit trail, device registry with revoke, accountant and finance exports, and the monthly report format where a club's regional rules require one.

Data protection

Special-category data is kept apart from ordinary club data. Each club chooses a dedicated database or a tenanted one, and can export its data and request deletion where lawful, subject to retention, audit and regulatory duties.

How it relates to the chain

Club OS and the licensed chain are separate. Club OS holds a club's own member and governance records. The chain view records licensed medical supply between licence holders. Club OS does not sell, list, price, order or supply anything, and it does not draw on the licensed chain.

Whether a club's activity is lawful is decided by the law of its own UK nation or EU member state, and by its regulator. StrainChain does not give legal advice and does not decide that for any club.

Where it stands

Three groups, kept apart. Only the first is live today.

Live now

The market map behind Club OS: public-source records of 5,674 organisations in 60 countries, 99 country rule profiles and 452 sourced relationships between organisations. Counts as of 25 October 2026, from public sources; no organisation list is published here.

In build

Batch passport spine (one batch identity across systems), a country advertising-rule checker, and the data layer and staff door tablet for clubs. Prototypes and reviews, not yet live.

Coming soon

Member and owner screens; a Germany pack; EU-GMP and import-permit document vault; cold-chain records for licensed carriers; a compliance and security roadmap; a register of counsel-signed country packs. All proposed and subject to legal sign-off.

By country

Each country is labelled on its own rules. Nothing here implies supply into the UK, and the UK licensed chain stops at the pharmacy or clinic.

Club OS by country
CountryPosition
United KingdomMedical use is lawful through specialist prescribers and pharmacies; adult use is not permitted. No clubs. Club OS is not offered for UK cannabis clubs.
GermanyNon-profit cultivation associations operate under KCanG, with state approval. A Germany pack is proposed: member register, reporting and advertising-rule checks within the association's own rules.
MaltaNon-profit associations are regulated by ARUC. A pack is proposed once local counsel signs it off.
SpainThe legal status of social clubs is contested. No pack is planned unless counsel signs one off.

Source: our country rule profiles, read 25 October 2026. Rules change; these are not legal advice. Whether any club may operate is decided by its own national and regional law and regulator.
